Smaller fragments of DNA move further to positive end of tank than
larger fragments

The crime Scene DNA must be made up of victim(s) + suspects

Suspect X's DNA is the only suspects DNA found at the crime scene.

The unidentified crime scene band = another suspect/from the victim.
 

Paternity Test Example

The father must match ALL the DNA bands of the child not matched by the mother.
 

A is the father as he is the only male to match ALL of the child's bands not matched to the child's mother.
