Our mentors are two highly qualified and experienced Heads of Department, completely committed to providing your child with the best learning experience. Being online lets us avoid the postcode lottery of local tutors. We understand parents often prefer face to face  OR 1: 1 tutoring but believe us the WHO that is tutoring your child matters more.

Karen started Bright Minds as an experienced Principal Teacher who felt compelled to provide a high quality, low cost alternative to the current market containing many underqualified and overly expensive tutors.  She begged an ex colleague, a very talented Head of Chemistry to come on board and the rest is history.

We have received incredible results using this model as Brightminds for the last 5 years.

 

 Karen's Own credentials.​​​

  • Graduated with a 1st Class Honours Bsc in Pharmacology at the University of Glasgow.​

  • Obtained a Distinction in Post Graduate Diploma of Education in Biology & Chemistry. ​

  • Over 10 years Head of Department experience.​

  • 10 year ​Senior SQA examiner experience.​

  • Commissioned by Education Scotland & Esgoil to write various curriculum items to support teachers nationally.
