There are 4 heart chambers as shown in the diagram below.

1. lungs for gas exchange in alveoli

2. cells/tissues for aerobic respiration to produce ATP.

Pulmonary Artery

Carries deoxygenated blood from right ventricle lungs.

Pulmonary Vein

Carries oxygenated blood from lungs left atrium

Aorta

Carries oxygenated blood from right ventricle cells/tissues in body

Vena Cava

Carries deoxygenated blood from cells/tissues in body right atrium

Coronary Artery

Blood vessel that provides the heart with oxygen.

Heart Attack

Coronary artery blocked (with fat) and no oxygen reaches heart muscle.
